14- Melody Munro – Founder/CEO of Wee College Inc. -President of Munro Institute
For the past thirty-three years, Melody’s focus in bringing high quality childcare programs for children and families has never wavered. Her journey in the field of early learning and childcare has lead her throughout the province and into Montreal inspiring her to make a difference. As a result, Wee College was born and the passion and desire to empower parents, inspire teachers and create an environment of living, loving and learning for children is at the forefront each day. Melody’s entrepreneurial spirit and former leadership with several provincial/federal entrepreneur programs has contributed to many start-ups in our province. Now, her focus is on franchising Wee College learning centers and Guardian software worldwide. She makes a difference in the field by challenging existing conventions, experimenting with new paradigms and developing best practices while advocating for change. Melody recruits, develops and collaborates with talented and diverse groups of creative thinkers to address challenges in early childhood services. She believes that investing in children today works to build our tomorrows and that contributing to the lives of children and families creates stronger communities where all benefit. As a strong, dedicated community leader Melody can be counted on to support and help with many valued charities across our Province. Melody has been the recipient of several entrepreneurial/business growth awards and is a member of the Order for the Wallace McCain Institute. The strength of her conviction and passion to make a difference in the lives of children is born through her greatest joys, her own children; Evan and Christina and the welcome addition of her first grandchild, Nevan James.

15- Sabrina Cheverie – Owner of 3rd Degree Training Moncton
A true Islander through and through, Sabrina Cheverie was born in Charlottetown a few years before the Confederation Bridge opened the world up to the treasures that Prince Edward Island possesses.
Growing up, Sabrina always wanted to help her community. In 2012 she graduated from Atlantic Police Academy but instead of following a career in policing she was presented with a different opportunity to help others. In 2015 Sabrina took up the challenge of owning and operating a 3rd Degree Training franchise in Moncton, NB. A company founded on real results that had opened her eyes to what living an active and healthy lifestyle is all about!
It was with mixed emotions that she decided to move away from her home on the Island, but Sabrina found comfort knowing that with the opportunity of running a fitness centre, she could help her new community thrive. With her leadership and dedication to fitness, she has inspired many people to lead healthy and happy lives, and along the way, many of them have become like family to her. Owning a busy fitness facility and being a dedicated entrepreneur does take much of her time, but somewhere between the cracks, she has managed to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from UPEI in 2017. On top of all that, she is an avid marathoner with dreams to one day qualify for the Boston Marathon.
16- Susy Campos -President and CEO of Community Grants Associates, Inc
Susy Campos arrived in Canada when she was 12 years old with her mother from war-turned Nicaragua.
Susy Campos has been an active community member with the Moncton West and Riverview Rotary Club since 2009, past president of this club and three times Paul Harris recipient, as well as Rotarian of the year award. She has been involved in many community boards and committees which include: board member of the Moncton Head Start Foundation, lay representative board member for the New Brunswick Medical Lab Technologies (NBMLT), board member of the Greater Moncton SPCA, Vice President board member of the Greater Moncton Big Brothers Big Sisters, fundraising committee member of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), Campaign Cabinet member of the Moncton Youth Residences (now known as Impact Youth), NB Cancer Society Daffodil Ball committee member, and YMCA of Greater Moncton Volunteer instructor.
Susy Campos, is President and CEO of Community Grants Associates, Inc., a consulting firm preparing proposals to secure funding from different levels of government and foundations. Ms. Campos has over 16 years of experience in the grant writing and fundraising fields. As one of the original co-founders of Community Grants Associates, Susy often works as the lead on grant engagements to include research, grant writing and submission of proposals, and has lead workshops and rigorous program evaluations. Her expertise includes but is not limited to programs involving education, health, transportation, economic development, domestic violence, human rights and social service programs.
A former Vice President of Randall Funding and Development, she has worked with a variety of clients across Canada and the United States. Previously she worked as a Project Officer at the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C. Her duties under this position were to implement projects in the areas of human rights, anti-corruption, arbitration and cybercrime.
Susy has a Master’s in International Relations and Political Theory from McMaster University and an M.B.A. from the University of Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada. She also holds a Combined Honours degree in Political Science and History from McMaster University.
17- Guylaine Roy – Senior Manager in assurance and business advisory services at Grant Thornton LLP
A mother at the age of 17, Guylaine realized at a young age that we are stronger together. With her family and friends always by her side, she went on to further her education, obtaining her BBA from Université de Moncton and becoming a Chartered Accountant a few years later.
Guylaine is a Senior Manager in Grant Thornton’s Assurance and Business Advisory Services service line. Her experience with Grant Thornton involves working Owner Managed business mainly in the Moncton area but also throughout New Brunswick. She assists her clients through the various business life cycles from start-ups, to growth, expansion, succession and everything in between.
Guylaine has also been involved with Business & Professional Women (BPW) of Greater Moncton since 2013. Before her current appointment as Club President, she has been involved in numerous committees and held various position on the Board of Directors. Her commitment and engagement to this organization grows with every new project. She also serves as New Brunswick Liaison on the BPW Canada Board of Directors and this past October, she was selected to represent Young BPW of North America at the International Federation of BPW Congress in Cairo, Egypt. While in Cairo, she was a panelist on the topic of Women Empowerment Principals – a set of Principles for business offering guidance on how to empower women in the workplace.
18- Angela Harris – Founder, Work of Heart
Connector, relationship builder and coach, Angela Harris is the founder of Work of Heart, a business created to empower and inspire people to be their best, to do their best and to live their best life. Angela helps heart centred people and businesses grow through events, consulting, and coaching.
Angela started her career as an Athletic Trainer in the Canadian Football League, because of her passion for sports and her dedication to helping people (and partly because so many people told her she couldn’t do it as a female.) After17 years working in the corporate world in Sales and Marketing, and Economic Development, Angela became a full time entrepreneur in April 2018.
A rugby coach turned self-confidence promoter, Angela is notorious for her “lack of filter” and for always having a story. Her mission in life is simply to make a difference … every day. Angela has an obsession with to do lists and is a recovering perfectionist who always has more ideas than time. As a fierce advocate for mental health, Angela shares her own mental health stories and takes pride in being able to use humour in hopes of helping others feel more “normal”.
When she isn’t helping others, you can find Angela taking time for herself, working on her business or running the roads with her busy young sports family.

21- Jane Harwood – Director at Jane Harwood Public Relations and Communications
Jane founded her business Jane Harwood Public Relations and Communications in 2014. She works with a wide range of organizations including major corporations, not-for-profits, startups and everywhere in between.
Passionate about giving back to the community, Jane volunteers her services to many charities and causes in Atlantic Canada. Furthermore, she contributes to her industry by helping and mentoring up-and-coming PR and marketing professionals.
Outside the office, Jane enjoys travelling – whether it’s to explore a new place and culture or to visit family and friends. She also loves cooking, fitness, reading and music.

23- Monique Sormany – Mom, Laboratory Technologist & Owner of Little Cakes by Monique
I am a busy mom to a sweet little girl who just turned one this summer and keeps me busier by the day. I also work as a laboratory technologist in the pathology department at the Moncton City hospital. When I find the time, I am an amateur cake decorator on the side.
24- Rachelle V0-Ngoc – Mother and Fibre Artist
Rachelle is currently a stay-at-home mother of two children and works part-time as an instructor for Michael’s Canada. With a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, she has worked in marketing, editing and consulting. An avid fibre artist, Rachelle enjoys knitting, crocheting, spinning and weaving and will soon be launching her own line of hand dyed and hand spun art yarns.
